I was discovering that if it was a matter of gritting my teeth, not caring how it looked, and outlasting everybody else, I won. It didn't seem to matter that I was Hotbody of Cancun, in a straight-ahead, long-distant race, I could beat anybody. If it was a suffer-fest, I was good at it." Edward Manders June 2008. Best of luck lads! |
| Greg | June 26, 2008 | € 40 | I miss the old John Kelly. The one who wasn't cycling round Ireland every weekend and was able to drink something stronger than water. COME BACK JOHN!!!!! |

| Eamon Clune | June 26, 2008 | € 40 | John - hopefully all that training on the hill of Howth will have paid off! Always remember during the toughest, most painful moments, that the bus of failure and humiliation is right behind you to pick you up if you're crap - no pressure and of course best of luck. |

| Anonymous Keany | June 25, 2008 | € 50 | Remember lads. When you hit 'the wall' after 40km just focus on the fact that there are only four larger, higher more difficult walls to go. I hear the last one's the killer. Good luck |
